Welcome to PiP

Priorities in Prevention (PiP) is a study of opinions and attitudes of people who work in the HIV field about different HIV prevention strategies for gay men. This short multiple-choice survey includes questions about 5 different HIV prevention strategies—both behavioural and biomedical.

Your responses to the survey are completely anonymous.

You are invited to complete the survey if you work in New South Wales in any role in the HIV sector, such as in clinical care, allied health, health promotion, education, policy, care and support, social work, advocacy, or activism. You are welcome to take part if you work in either a paid or unpaid role.

For each prevention strategy we will ask your views about its effectiveness, acceptability, appropriate contexts, and whether you believe it should be recommended for gay men.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes.

The survey is being conducted by the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW Australia.

If you have any questions about the study or your participation, please feel free to contact Dean Murphy on (02) 9385 6946 or email d.murphy@unsw.edu.au.
